Cafe Felix, Ann Arbor, Michigan, March 15th 2008 Last March there was an interesting symposium on Networks in Ecology and Evolution organized by the EEB departament of the University of Michigan, and made possible by the generous suppport of Dr. Nancy Walls. After the symposium some of us went for drinks at this European style cafe in Ann Arbor. There were several things to be happy for. One of the them is the power of scientific collaboration. Mettings have the purpose of promoting the exchange of ideas and fostering collaboration. We are engaged in a common enterprise. In this series of pictures, you may think it does not look like, but you can actually see great people doing great science. By the end of 2006, another cafe in Ann Arbor ---Cafe Ambrosia--- was hosting in this case rather regular meetings. Every Monday morning some of us used to get toghether at Cafe Ambrosia to discuss science and get ready for the week. As a result of those meetings, step by step, maybe for longer than a year, we ended up putting toghether a nice piece of work ---see our recently published paper. As you see in the pictures, on that day there were too many things to be happy for.
